THANKS FOR A FANTASTIC SEASON!

Thank you all for coming to our Fall 2012 concert! We had so much fun playing flight-filled music from Jupiter to Superman to Defying Gravity and much more. We loved working with our talented soloists and pops musicians. Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to our fabulous conductor, Elim Chan, our e-board and most importantly our pops orchestra members! Thank you again, and we hope to see you next semester!

POPS TAKES FLIGHT TONIGHT!

To quote another pops member:

Today, I am going to board a space shuttle on an epic STAR TREK. First, I will go UP to JUPITER. Then, the shuttle will FLY ME TO THE MOON, where I can meet SUPERMAN, DEFY GRAVITY, and let loose the FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEES. Along the way, I may learn HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, or even meet E.T. Sound fun? All of you can do this too - come check out Pops Takes Flight! with the Michigan PopsOrchestra tonight at 7:00 at the Michigan Theater! Tickets available at the door.

You can still purchase tickets at the Michigan Theater on Friday 3-5pm, Mason Hall on Friday 12-2pm, and at the door on Sunday, concert day!

Prepare for a flight-filled journey as Pops takes you through the skies. From the likes of Star Trek to Up, Firebird, Superman, Defying Gravity and more, Pops hopes to play a fun-filled, adventure-packed concert that will (literally) fly you from your seats! 

So, prepare to fly on Sunday, November 18th at 7pm in the Michigan Theater. Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for adults and free for students K-12.
